We are looking for a Flight Dispatcher with EASA/FAA license for our client in the Middle East:
The Dispatcher shall:
be responsible for the operation and liaison between us and the different clients and authorities at their base;
be responsible to ensure that that Dispatch Instructions are brought to the attention to flight crew;
ensure that our route manuals and other operational charts and maps are up- to date, valid and available to the flight crews;
check that all crew members carry all required licenses, ratings, passports and crew manuals or instructions, as per company requirements, whenever they exercise crew duties;
supervise available ground transportation in the operation;
develop and distribute required flight planning documentation at the Base office except maintenance documentation;
maintain all office routines, filing and distribution of reports, mail, OPS flight plans, Weight and Balance forms and other documentation;
establish an effective system for communication between the Base and each flight crew member assigned to the Base, and ensure that any operational instruction and/or information is brought to the attention of each crew member;
ensure that our office and aircrafts stationed at the base are secured at the end of operation every day;
introduce new employees to the operation and immediately take required action in any SAR operation and/or other emergencies in the operation providing information to company emergency team and liaison at local base; and keep an up-dated list of names, addresses and telephone numbers, pertinent to the Emergency Response Plan, readily displayed in the Base Office.
ensure the Commanders of our aircraft are aware of ground operations facilities on the aerodromes;
submit to the CAA Commander’s Discretion Reports.
In addition to above they are responsible for the following:
1.7.4.1 FDTL System
The Dispatcher shall, maintain control of all flight crew members designated for flight duty times and rest requirements.
1.7.4.2 Flight Planning System
The Dispatcher shall use our Approved Flight planning system to ensure the navigational database is up to date and synchronised with that of the aircraft.
1.7.4.3 Loading Calculation
Dispatchers are trained and qualified to utilise the OPT and shall provide pilots with a valid load sheet for each departure.
Requirements
1. Minimum 5 years of experience required 2. FAA/EASA license is required 3. EU Citizen is preferred 4. Relocation role
